Bear-Glasgow Dental & Peninsula Dental Host Give Kids a Smile!

On Saturday, February 20th, the doctors and staff all donated a full day at our new Millsboro office, Peninsula Dental, to help out disadvantaged children. Give Kids a Smile is a nation-wide event, and we were happy to host the Sussex County, Delaware, event.

Our doctors and staff saw over 60 area children from families with no means to afford care. Some had never been to a dentist before. Many spoke only Spanish, but several of us are bilingual and were able to communicate with them. It was a very rewarding experience for us all, providing cleanings, fillings, sealants, extractions, and other needed care. We can't wait to do it again next year!
